So, some people have bad experiences of having very low drop rates, some people play 10 games online and finish with no drops, some people say they play solo player and die on first round and insta get items? I think there should be importent factors of loot drops and such1. Being the obvs contribution for online play, sometimes i get about 300 kills (normal difficulty) and kill boss with 40-50% damage (to it's health) and get nothing, i think the drop rate system should increase based on kills, healing, supporting etc. (so demo have lower chance because his expected to kill alot but.

Medic will have more chance with high kill rate and healing?(maybe not idk)2. Difficulty increase drop chance, so HOE with 10 waves should give about 50% or even 70% chance 'IF' you win, that will enable people to make competitive teams and lineup's for cool looking drops (yes i understand currency for items on market will lower alot if that happened)3. 100% loot chance for every 5 hours of gameplay? (maybe 10?)anyway lets talk about the drop rates anyway, seems to be very low to be able to just craft better items, think it should be increase in low normal skins and low for rares etc.
Specimens (aka ZEDs) are the main antagonists of Killing Floor and Killing Floor 2. While they are widely referred to as zombies they are in fact failed experimental clones created by Horzine Biotech, a biotechnology company in London, England.
I say leave the drop system as it is, i just got a drop early this morning for playing my first few real games. And i feel like that's a great reward, 24 hour drops are nice. And they make it so that you don't get all the cosmetics to quickly and then whine about not getting any more.if you go damage route, as many people will probably tell you that will promote kill stealing. And considering it's already crazy enough to try and get kills with multiple people firing at a row of enemies that wouldn't be the best idea.to play the game on a harder difficulty to get drops faster, would mean that everyone even unexperienced players who have never touched this game before would be flooding modes like hell on earth, and if you are a new player walking into a mode like that you will die! And you will die alot, get mad at the game and probably walk away from it calling it crap. That would not work either, also it would mean that more players who have experience with this game would be spending all their time on the harder modes and leaving modes like normal (which is a great starting point for players) would be left barron.next the timing we don't need drops every few hours like i said in my opening, drops should be something that you feel like you earned for coming back to play the game each day. Which makes the 24 hour system feel more rewarding, it rewards players for playing on a daily basis allowing you the option to craft better items the more you play.
Think of it like this, you're favorite game is having a event where if you log in every day of the week you get better and better items. This is what killing floor 2 is trying to do for it's drop system i think every 24 hours there is a new drop for you that makes you feel like you want to keep playing. And i think the system works, if it was every 5 hours or every 10 hours. You would start to get bored of the drop system or you would have everything you want and say that the system makes no sense anymore.all in all the drop system should stay as it is, as long as you play you won't notice the 24 hours going.
Just make a note of the last time you got a drop and remember it and just play on and the drops will roll in without you even noticing it. Fundamentally removes team tactical play for whatever situation.2.
Disagree, in the context that HoE isn't hard enough for that type of system. Barring a team of window lickers or a pro rocket to the face, losing is less likely than winning. Easily farmed solo.3. Personally, I'd go with a revamped version of #2 with far less% maybe.
Either one appropriately applied could work.I do find it silly that when starting up KF, if there are no hoe servers in range, I'll join a random server and immediately kill myself to pick a new map and get a drop. How about higher difficulties means less chance of a crate?Anyway, I've gotten a few mints in recent weeks. Just to leave my.02, I get home around 5:15pm every day.
I can start a game at 6pm - Solo - Short - Normal - and default map. I kill 5-10 Zeds then walk away, change my clothes, get a drink, come back dead and get my Crate or USB (or headband if I'm really lucky) then log out of the game and play something else. When the mood strikes me I jump on and play 'for real', join a pub game and kill stuff, and don't worry too much about drops. In my opinion this whole Zedconomy is total ♥♥♥♥ on fire. TWI could easily turn this around by either putting everything in the store at a DECENT price ($1 to $2 as opposed to $10 ♥♥♥♥ing dollars for a cloak? Come on.) OR reducing the price for the Keys to open the ♥♥♥♥ to $1.But. They seem intent on shooting this game in the foot any chance they get, sooooooo? Stop changing things that don't need changes because some recent data indicates it does.
Let us play the game and have fun.
